The rules and regulations for your purchase/appointment

ARTICLE 1. APPLICABILITY
1.1 The trade name RANA and the website www.ranahair.com are part of YALEMY bv (hereinafter: RANA).

1.2 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: terms and conditions) apply to all offers, orders and agreements from RANA.

1.3 Accepting an offer or placing an order means that the buyer accepts the applicability of the general terms and conditions applicable at that time.

1.4 The General Terms and Conditions can be changed by RANA at any time.

1.5 The provisions of these conditions can only be deviated from after written approval by RANA, in which case the other provisions remain in full force.

1.6 All rights and claims, as stipulated in these terms and conditions and in any further agreements for the benefit of RANA, are also stipulated for the benefit of intermediaries and other third parties engaged by RANA.

ARTICLE 2. OFFERS AND AGREEMENTS
2.1 All RANA offers are without obligation and RANA reserves the right to change prices.

2.2 RANA reserves the right to change packaging, packaging contents, models and colors at any time.

2.3 An agreement is only concluded after acceptance of an order by RANA is entitled to refuse orders without giving a reason or to attach certain conditions to the delivery, unless expressly stated otherwise. If an order is not accepted by RANA, RANA will notify this within five (5) working days of receipt of this order.

ARTICLE 3. DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
3.1 The method of shipment is determined by RANA, unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 RANA is not liable for delays at the carrier used (including PostNL and BPost).

3.3 Delivery times are always approximate and under no circumstances can RANA be held liable for compensation for costs or damage due to exceeding the delivery time.

3.4 Loss, breakage, theft or other damage during transport will be reimbursed by RANA provided clear evidence can be provided.

3.5 Products that are not in stock will not be sent automatically. RANA will inform the buyer of this within five (5) working days. The buyer then has the option to cancel the order.

ARTICLE 4. PRICES
4.1 The prices stated for the RANA products and services offered on our website and store(s) are in euros, excluding 21% VAT, excluding shipping costs.

4.2 For orders with a delivery address outside Belgium, regular postal rates are maintained.

ARTICLE 5. PAYMENTS
5.1 Orders via the website can be paid in the following ways:

  • Transfer. This can be done to the following account number:
    IBAN: BE66 0019 1410 5343 in favor of RANA HAIR.
    Mentioning your full name and order number.
  • Bancontact
  • Payconiq
  • iDEAL

5.2 RANA may expand and/or adjust the payment options in the future. Other payment options will be announced via the website.

5.3 To ensure a secure online payment and the safety of your personal data, the transaction data is encrypted with SSL technology and sent over the internet. You do not need any special software to pay with SSL. You can recognize a secure SSL connection by the “lock” in the bottom status bar of your browser.

5.4 If a payment term has been agreed by RANA, the Buyer will be in default by the mere expiry of this term. Payment terms can only be agreed in writing under conditions to be set and agreed at that time.

5.5 If you choose to pay by credit card, the terms and conditions of the relevant card issuer apply. RANA is not a party to the relationship between the Buyer and the card issuer.

5.6 In the event of non-payment or late payment by the Buyer, the Buyer owes interest on the outstanding amount at the statutory interest rate, calculated from the day on which payment should have been made until the day of full payment.

5.7 The Buyer will also be charged for all (extra)judicial costs of whatever nature that RANA has had to incur as a result of the Buyer's failure to fulfill its (payment) obligations.

5.8 In the event of late payment, RANA is entitled to terminate the agreement with immediate effect or to suspend (further) delivery until the Buyer has fully fulfilled its payment obligations, including the payment of interest and costs due.

5.9 An online order must be paid for before delivery (unless otherwise agreed).

ARTICLE 6. VIEW PERIOD / WARRANTY / EXCHANGE
6.1 If there is a consumer purchase, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act (Article 7:5 of the Dutch Civil Code), the customer has the right to return (part of) the delivered goods within a period of 14 (fourteen) working days without giving any reason. . This period starts when the ordered goods have been delivered. If the customer has not returned the delivered goods to RANA after this period has expired, the purchase is a fact.

6.2 Before returning, the customer is obliged to notify RANA in writing within 14 (fourteen) working days after delivery.

6.3 The customer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned on time, for example by means of proof of postal delivery.

6.4 The goods must be returned in the original packaging (including accessories and associated documentation) and in 100% new condition. This means that the seal on the package has not been broken, damaged, re-sealed, etc.

6.5 If the goods have been used, encumbered or damaged in any way by the customer, the right to termination within the meaning of this article lapses.

6.6 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
a. services the performance of which, with the consent of the consumer, has started before a period of fourteen (14) working days;
b. goods or services whose price is subject to fluctuations in the financial market, over which the supplier has no influence;
c. goods that are manufactured according to consumer specifications, for example custom-made, or that have a clearly personal character;
d. for goods or services that cannot be returned due to their nature, for example due to hygiene or that can spoil or age quickly;
e. audio and video recordings and computer software of which the consumer has broken the seal;
f. the supply of newspapers and magazines; for betting and lottery services;
g. for goods that have been ordered from the manufacturer specifically for the consumer;
h. for goods that have been processed at the request of or by the consumer.

6.7 Returns are at the buyer's own risk. We therefore recommend that you always do this by registered mail.

6.8 The buyer is obliged to check whether the delivered items comply with the order. Any deviations in colors, textures and/or models, to the extent acceptable, cannot be returned or exchanged. If this is not the case, the buyer must report this by e-mail to RANA within fourteen (14) days after delivery, stating the name of the buyer, the order number and a clear explanation of why the item does not comply. RANA will replace the item or reverse payment if it is shown that the item is not accepted for valid reasons. If no defect is reported within this period, any claim against RANA in respect of any defect will lapse.

6.9 RANA can never be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect shipments with incorrect items.

6.10 RANA reserves the right to change prices, packaging, packaging contents, models and colors at any time.

6.11 A return shipment will only be exchanged when it has been received and approved by RANA.

ARTICLE 7. COMPLAINTS
7.1 Complaints about quality must be reported in writing (e-mail) within fourteen (14) days of purchase, including a clear explanation of the complaint. If no defect is reported within this period, any claim against RANA regarding any defect will lapse.

7.2 RANA will only handle the complaint from the official buyer, as known in the customer base.

7.3 The buyer is obliged to provide RANA with all cooperation necessary to resolve the complaint in all reasonableness.

7.4 To handle the complaint, all products/hair extensions must be returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Products that are not returned within this period will not be eligible for complaint handling.

7.5 If doubts arise about the product during treatment, treatment should be stopped immediately and RANA should be contacted.

7.6 Products that have already been chemically treated are not eligible for complaint handling.

7.7 Chemical treatment (including dyeing, perming, etc.) of the hair is always at the buyer's own risk.

7.8 RANA does not guarantee any incorrect color and/or texture choice by the customer.

7.9 RANA does not guarantee a mounting system that is not perceived as pleasant by the customer.

7.10 RANA does not provide a guarantee against incorrect use and/or care of the purchased products.

7.11 RANA is not liable for the work of third parties.

7.12 Returning does not guarantee reimbursement.

7.13 Compensation consists exclusively of the same product as the purchased product and not in compensation of money or costs incurred to third parties. If a product is no longer in stock, a voucher will be created with an equal value of the purchased product. This voucher can be spent freely in the RANA online store

7.14 Correspondence cannot be entered into regarding rejected complaints.

ARTICLE 8. WARRANTY
8.1 A number of conditions apply to our warranty:

  • We give a 3-month warranty on the quality of RANA Hair Extensions.
  • This guarantee only applies if RANA Hair Care products have been used. The use of all other care products voids the warranty. More information about the maintenance of your hair extensions can be found on our website under care advice.
  • The warranty only applies to RANA hair extensions. The warranty conditions of the relevant manufacturer apply to all other products and brands.
  • Returned hair extensions are always first examined in the factory's laboratory. If this shows that the hair has not been used correctly, has not been maintained correctly and the correct (care) products have not always been used, then this is not covered by the stated warranty.
  • Hair extensions that have been dyed or chemically treated are not covered by the warranty.
  • Damage due to incorrect use of or incorrect (electrical) equipment will void the warranty.
  • We only reimburse the hair extensions, never the work that the hairdresser/customer has had to put the extensions in and out of the hair (if the complaint is justified).
  • We only reimburse the hair that is actually returned (if the complaint is justified).
  • Only after the products about which the complaint exists have been received by us, checked and examined in the laboratory, will it be reimbursed (if the complaint is justified).
  • Shipping costs, etc. will never be reimbursed.
  • RANA will never reimburse hair extensions that have not been used correctly or if you are not satisfied with them. If this is the case, you should contact the person who used the extensions.
  • The term for this Guarantee is 30 days after we have sent the package.
  • This guarantee applies to products that do not meet the quality requirements set by RANA. This does not apply to products that you want to exchange, etc

ARTICLE 9. RETURNS
9.1 The following rules apply to all returns:

  • Send an email to contact@ranahair.com stating your name, invoice number and the reason for return.
  • For a new product, the item must be returned within fourteen (14) days of the day on which you contacted RANA regarding the return shipment.
  • The seal of a new product may not be broken.
  • For a new product, the packaging must be undamaged.
  • Costs for returns are for the buyer unless an incorrect delivery has been made by RANA.
  • Returns without registered mail are at the risk of the buyer.
  • RANA is not responsible for the loss or delay of a return shipment.
  • Insufficiently stamped or unstamped returns will not be accepted by RANA.
  • The buyer must package the items in such a way that damage is avoided.

ARTICLE 10. RESERVATION OF TITLE
10.1 Ownership of delivered products is only transferred when all payments have been made by the buyer to RANA.

ARTICLE 11. INDEMNIFICATION
11.1 The buyer must indemnify RANA against all liability that RANA may have towards third parties with regard to the goods delivered by RANA.

11.2 Some scientific publications appear to state that hair extensions may cause damage to your own hair and scalp. However, these claims have been contradicted in other publications, which also clearly point out that, if there is any damage, it can also be the result of improper use of the hair extensions. There is no clear scientific reporting available about the possible damage caused by hair extensions and/or improper use of hair extensions.

11.3 In addition to the above, RANA expressly states that it cannot be held responsible or liable in any way for any form of damage, including physical or psychological, that may result from the use of hair extensions.

11.4 The use of hair extensions and/or their accessories, supplied by RANA, is entirely at your own risk.

11.5 RANA is not responsible for the labor of third parties, including but not limited to the processing of products supplied by RANA.

ARTICLE 12. STUDIO
12.1 When making a reservation in the RANA Studio, you are always asked to pay a deposit. As soon as this advance has been received, the appointment is definitively confirmed.

12.2 In case of cancellation less than five working days before the treatment is scheduled, 50% of the treatment costs will be charged. In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before the treatment is scheduled, and also if the customer does not show up (no-show), 100% of the treatment costs will be charged. In case of earlier cancellation, €25.00 administration costs will be charged.

12.3 All treatments must be paid for immediately, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. On the due date of unpaid invoices, they will automatically, without prior notice, yield 15% per year, with a minimum of €25.00.

12.4 A reservation request from the customer must always be confirmed by RANA.

ARTICLE 13. JURISDICTION
13.1 In the event of disputes, the judge at the place of our establishment, or at our choice, has jurisdiction.

ARTICLE 14. COPYRIGHT
14.1 All copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to the RANA websites may not be copied without permission.
