“They burn the hair extensions into your hair.”
Fable. The RANA Invisilocks are our keratin extensions and are also popularly called wax, resins or burn-in. This is still RANA's most popular Hair Extension system! The keratin bonds are heated using heat tongs. This allows us to model it around your own hair. Each one of them is attached to your own hair, so they are not burned in.

“You always see hair extensions.”
Fable. With the RANA Invisilocks you can lengthen your hairstyle in a natural and invisible way or give it a volume boost. Both on television or social media, and in everyday life, you come across women who you don't know wear hair extensions. Precisely because they are professionally styled in such a way that everyone thinks it is your natural hair.

You are usually afraid that others will notice, but the hair experts at RANA will not let this happen. We also have all colors of extensions in stock in our studio. So there is absolutely no color difference.

“I recommend going to a specialist for hair extensions.”
Fact. Please do us a favor and don't have hair extensions done by a friend who also happens to be a hairdresser and has no experience with this. RANA only employs real Hair Experts with years of experience and expertise in the field of hair extensions. If extensions are not placed properly, the wrong system is used or poor hair quality is used, your own hair can experience significant problems. Removing your hair extensions may seem quicker to do yourself, but removing them correctly may be even more important than using them. “Hair extensions are harmful to your own hair.”
Fable. No, hair extensions are not harmful to your own hair at all. However, it is important that the best quality extensions are used, that they are placed correctly, that they are properly maintained and that they are removed professionally. Since only Hair Extension Specialists work in our studio, you do not have to worry about damage to your own hair.

Fact/Fable. It is of course true that it is very important that you care for your hair extensions properly and with the right products. You will receive this explanation in detail in our studio and it will also be written out on paper. Once you know how to best treat hair extensions, it will become a habit over time.

If you wear extensions you will notice that you have to wash your hair much less often, which of course saves time. So washing, drying and styling will take a little longer, but afterwards you can enjoy it for days without having to pay too much attention to it. With the Invisilocks system you can also create super beautiful high ponytails and dots, without it being visible.

“You will need to return every four weeks to maintain your extensions.”
Fable. The Invisilocks are very secure, meaning they will stay in place for months. We recommend renewing them approximately after three to four months. Of course, this period depends on your own hair and how fast it grows. We recommend that you come by in the meantime for a free check-up. Fortunately, this does not take very long and can therefore be perfectly combined with a day in Antwerp, win-win!
